The UK’s struggling construction market is expected to turn a corner this year, according to a leading quarterly survey of chartered surveyors. More surveyors than not - a net balance of 15pc of those polled by the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) - expect their workloads to grow over the next 12 months, after a “horrendous” 2012. Builders are feeling the continued impact of reduced government and private sector spending.
