New York City’s commercial-property market will rebound from Hurricane Sandy as it has from previous disasters, according to local real estate executives. “As bad as Sandy is, I believe, in a year, we will be back to normal,” Peter Hauspurg, chairman and chief executive officer of Eastern Consolidated, an investment sales brokerage, said today on a panel at the Bloomberg Commercial Real Estate Conference in New York. “New York City has shown itself to be the real estate Treasury bill of the world.”..............................................Full Article: Source
