22.08.2012 - Zillow: U.S. 30-year mortgage rate rises in latest week
Real-estate website Zillow Inc. said Tuesday its real-time rate on 30-year fixed mortgages rose in the latest week, reaching its highest point in 10 weeks. Zillow said the 30-year fixed mortgage rate on its Mortgage Marketplace rose to 3.5% from 3.42% a week earlier. The rate hovered between 3.4% and 3.6% through the week and dropped to its current rate Tuesday morning. The Mortgage Marketplace launched in April 2008.
