Property values in Canada increased by more than five per cent last month, according to new data. The MLS Home Price Index, published by the Canadian Real Estate Association (CREA), rose by 5.2 per cent year on year in May 2012. Toronto set the pace for the rest of the country, with prices rising by 7.9 per cent in Canada's largest city.
