06.06.2012 - Eurozone crisis widens UK housing divide, CEBR says
The escalation of the eurozone crisis will widen the gap between a stronger British housing market in the south and a weaker market in the north, a think-tank has warned. The Centre for Economics and Business Research predicted that while house prices would rise 2pc in the South East this year, and 2.4pc in London, prices would fall 2.7pc in the North East and 2.2pc in Scotland.
