09.05.2012 - Asia commercial real estate investment drops in 1st quarter
Commercial and industrial real estate investment in Asia tumbled 42% in the first quarter from the prior three-month period, signaling an across-the-board weakening, apart from Hong Kong where investment doubled, according to a report Tuesday by CBRE. The transactions, involving offices, retail complexes and industrial facilities, totaled $11.6 billion for the quarter, CBRE said.
