| From ETF Guide: According to the Investment Company Institute (ICI) the combined assets of U.S. exchange-traded funds (ETFs) rose $3.19 billion to $585.97 billion in August. This is a 0.5% increase compared to July and an increase of 15.6% or $78.86 billion compared to August 2007, when ETF assets were $507.11 billion.
