09.01.2009 - Supply concerns push cocoa close to 23-year high
From FT: Cocoa prices traded close to a 23-year high on Thursday amid concerns about dwindling supplies from Ivory Coast, by far the world’s largest producer. Euronext-Liffe cocoa for delivery in May, the market benchmark, hit £1,809 a tonne before easing back to £1,794, up 2.4 per cent on the day.
