From Bizjournals.com: The Mortgage Bankers Association expects the economy to contract through the first half of 2009 before a modest recovery takes hold heading into 2010. The Washington, D.C.-based group said in its latest economic forecast this week that it expects growth to pick up strongly by the end of next year and over the course of 2010.
