From Reuters: The regulator for mortgage finance giants Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac on Thursday proposed the two firms be banned from investing in mortgages that allow developers to collect fees years after the homes are built. The Federal Housing Finance Agency, which regulates the two government-controlled agencies, said it plans to restrict Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac and the Federal Home Loan Banks from investing in mortgages with "private transfer fee covenants.".............................................Full Article: Source
