A succession of chief executives and business lobbyists have been beating a path to ministerial doors in Canberra this week, as debate intensifies over the final shape of a carbon trading scheme. Climate Change Minister Penny Wong, Treasurer Wayne Swan and other senior ministers have sought to placate concerns the government is fixated on a preferred model.
