| Former Howard government treasurer Peter Costello has warned that Australia's financial position is "not strong" and that returns from the Future Fund he chairs will be weaker.
Speaking to The Business presenter Ticky Fullerton at a Walkley Foundation function, Mr Costello defended his record as treasurer, and issued a warning to his latest successor Scott Morrison. "Our financial position in Australia at the moment is not strong," Mr Costello lamented.
