28.07.2016 - Singapore wealth fund’s performance falls to three-year low
Low interest rates, high asset valuation and political instability were expected to bring down returns for the foreseeable future, Singapore’s GIC said on Thursday as the sovereign wealth fund’s performance fell to a three-year low. The investment group’s rolling annualised 20-year rate of return fell to 4 per cent for the year ending March 31, GIC said in its annual results. It recorded 4.9 per cent last year, the strongest results in a decade.
