11.03.2013 - Qatar c.bank says to issue 7 bln riyals debt
Qatar’s Central Bank will issue 4 billion riyals ($1.1 billion) of local currency Sukuk and 3 billion riyals of local currency conventional bonds. The issuances are part of an adjustment of monetary policy and in order to help commercial banks meet Basel III liquidity requirements, reported Reuters, citing the Central Bank. The Central Bank will announce a timescale for the issuances later.
