19.03.2012 - DIFCI reviewing loan options to repay Sukuk
DIFC Investments (DIFCI) is reported to be considering a loan of up to $1 billion to assist in repaying a $1.25 billion Sukuk that matures in June. DIFCI, the investment arm of Dubai International Financial Centre is apparently considering taking out a $1 billion loan as one of its options to help meet its debt obligations. In February DIFCI hired US investment bank Moelis & Co to advise it on options for the Sukuk maturity.
