Oil demand will significantly subside in developed economies in 2009 the report predicted. Merrill Lynch, in its recent analysis on global energy demands, said the Middle East and the emerging economies of 'Chindia' (China and India) are few of the resilient regions where hydrocarbon requirement will continue to grow, albeit at a slower pace in spite of the recession.......
