Oil prices fell Tuesday but pared a lot of their losses late in the day as investors try to navigate an array of volatile influences on the market. Many expect supply outages to end in Nigeria and Canada, but others claim it will have little influence. New polls have caused quick-changing expectations on the U.K.’s referendum on European Union membership. Analysts are predicting a drain from U.S. crude stockpiles, but they are still near record highs.
