The Committee on Climate Change (CCC) will today detail its thinking ahead of its official recommendation on the pace of decarbonisation the UK should maintain through to the mid-2030s, hinting strongly that deep emissions reductions are likely to continue as the country strives to more than halve emissions against a 1990 baseline within the next 15 years.
