Li Keqiang says currency war is not in China's interests as he seeks to allay fears about the health of the world's second largest economy. China's premier has sought to soothe concerns about the health of the world's second largest economy, insisting the country would not engage in a currency war to boost growth. Li Keqiang said China's current growth trajectory was "still moving in a positive direction" and that recent stock market "fluctuations" would not change the country's pace or direction of reforms.
