04.09.2015 - Krom River Closes Commodity Hedge Fund
Commodity hedge fund Krom River, which managed around $1 billion at its peak, is returning money to investors as it plans a shift in focus following a tough period for commodities funds. The Swiss-based fund, co-founded by former Armajaro Asset Management trader Chris Brodie, currently has around $60 million in assets, according to a person familiar with the company. The fund has lost money over the past three calendar years, and was down around 2% year-to-date to June.
