The computer glitch at Bank of New York Mellon that obscured the value of holdings in hundreds of mutual funds and exchange-traded funds may finally be close to being resolved. But that might not be an end to trouble for the bank. The problem arose after the bank and software provider SunGard Data Systems pushed out an upgrade last Monday to computer systems used to determine net asset values of ETFs and mutual funds. As of Friday morning, the bank said it was able to generate these for most ETF clients.
