Participants in the European Union's carbon market expect average prices to rise for the first time in four years, an annual survey published by the International Emissions Trading Association (IETA) showed on Tuesday. The survey conducted by PwC drew on responses from 122 IETA members including utilities, trading houses and banks. Respondents anticipate an average EU carbon price of 10.79 euros ($11.76) per metric ton (1.1023 tons) in the third phase of the Emissions Trading System (ETS), which runs from 2013 to 2020.........................................Full Article: Source
