The dollar continued its world-beating ways on speculation the Federal Reserve will raise interest rates this year while other central banks extend stimulus measures. The US currency climbed versus all of its 16 major peers in 2014 and extended those gains Friday as two manufacturing gauge signaled expansion. The euro slumped to a 4 1/2-year low after European Central Bank President Mario Draghi said he can’t exclude the risk of deflation and signaled the likelihood of quantitative easing is increasing.
