Aluminum fell to a two-week low after a report showed that China’s real-estate market is weakening, fanning concern that a global economic slowdown will sap demand for industrial metals. New-home prices slid in October for a second month in all but one city monitored by the government, China’s statistics bureau said today. U.S. industrial production unexpectedly slipped last month, and the economy in Japan fell into its fourth recession since 2008, separate report showed yesterday.
