South Korea's securities exchange says it will test the country’s new emission trading market next ahead of its planned 2015 launch. The Korean Exchange (KRX), the country’s only securities bourse, landed the rights to manage the platform last year after an agreement with the Ministry of Environment. Set to become the world’s second largest carbon trading market, the scheme will cap greenhouse gas emissions from over 400 of South Korea's biggest emitters, mainly power generators and manufacturers.
