With emerging markets underperforming global markets over the past month, Deutsche Bank offers its thoughts on currencies, with a long position in Brazil’s real and some hope for Latin America. With an eye to global risks, the U.S. dollar strength and the European Central Bank’s quantitative easing, Deutsche writes: As balance sheet changes of this magnitude tend to underpin persistent realignments across assets, U.S. dollar strength seems likely to weigh further on emerging market foreign exchange, which – in combination with overall reduced local yields – limits the upside for local markets, in our view. ............................................Full Article: Source
