15.09.2014 - OPEC Chief Sees Oil Price Rebounding by Year End
OPEC's chief said on Friday that no emergency meeting is being considered as he expects oil prices to rebound by the end of the year. The Brent oil price—the most widely used international benchmark—fell below $100 a barrel this week and remained around $98 a barrel on Friday. But in an interview with The Wall Street Journal at the group's headquarters in Vienna, OPEC secretary-general Abdalla Salem el-Badri said that "the price will come back."
