A Barclays report says the current year witnessed an improvement in the health of commodities but investors have continued to withdraw assets from commodity investments on a quarterly basis. The slow pace at which institutional investors are able to take and implement the kind of long-term investment decisions and make allocations to commodities is the major reason for this trend. But the situation is expected to improve gradually, the report said. The report maintains key recommendations as: long crude oil; short gold (due to weak fundamentals); and long nickel – the base metal with the best short-term fundamentals and a sector likely to benefit from better global growth in this quarter...............................................Full Article: Source
