Looking ahead few years, global demand for oil will continue to increase because of rising prosperity in emerging economies. Supply, however, will still remain constrained. Soon, the world will not be able to produce all the oil it needs as demand is continually rising while supply is falling. According to International Energy Agency (IEA), oil consumption will rise by 56% between now and 2040, with China and India responsible for half of this increase in consumption. Global oil demand for 2013 will probably be around 91.3 million barrels per day (mb/d).
