31.01.2014 - Commodity producers face second year of falling prices
Prices of the main commodities – energy, metals, agriculture and fertilisers – are expected to decline for the second successive year in 2014, the World Bank said on Thursday. In its quarterly commodities outlook, the bank painted a gloomy picture for commodity producers, though consumers have reason for cheer.
