29.01.2014 - Global gold hedge book continues decline in 3Q 2013
Net producers de-hedging of gold continued in the third quarter of 2013, according to a quarterly hedge book report from Thomson Reuters GFMS and Societe Generale released on Tuesday. The decline was 188,000 ounces, or 6 metric tons, the firms said. With the fall, the global gold hedge book stood at 2.94 million ounces, or 92 tons, as of the end of the third quarter.
