The Australian dollar rose against most currencies in Thursday's Asian session as commodity prices continued to recover on the back of recent signs of economic improvement in China, Europe and the U.S. Late Wednesday, the Aussie was trading at US$0.9168, compared with US$0.9106 late Wednesday.
