Demand for oil from members of the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries is likely to fall in 2013 as a result of economic weakness in the European Union and reduced demand from the U.S., the group's secretary-general said Thursday. Abdalla Salem el-Badri said demand for OPEC oil is likely to fall by between 200,000 and 300,000 barrels a day to 29.7 million barrels a day.
