Titanic director James Cameron is backing a company with Google billionaires Larry Page and Eric Schmidt to mine asteroids in space, called Planetary Resources. But a more realistic option for Mr Cameron would be to continue to develop his keen interest in the ocean depths. Last week, the world's first sea-floor miner signed up its first customer.
