| Rural Electrification Corporation (REC), a PSU navratna that finances and promotes rural electrification projects, is close to buying 16% in upcoming commodity futures bourse Universal Commodity Exchange (UCX) for Rs 16 crore. "UCX's promoter has offered us 16% stake in the exchange," Hari Das Khunteta, director (finance), REC, told ET.
