02.09.2011 - Oil rises on economic reports

Oil prices rose on Thursday on positive U.S. economic reports on manufacturing and factory orders. Benchmark oil for October delivery rose 95 cents to $89.76 per barrel in early afternoon trading on the New York Mercantile Exchange. In London, Brent crude increased 7 cents at $114.92 a barrel on the ICE Futures exchange.
