From WSJ: Some big packaged food makers are struggling to fully offset higher commodity costs with price increases, several food company executives said at a conference for consumer-products investors Tuesday. For the big U.S.-based food makers, soaring prices for wheat, meats and other commodities come at a difficult time. Developed countries still comprise the majority of their sales and weak consumer confidence in those markets has made raising prices in line with climbing costs difficult.
