26.11.2010 - Baltic index falls, capesize cargo activity slow
From Reuters: The Baltic Exchange's main sea freight index .BADI, which tracks rates to ship dry commodities, retreated on Thursday with slower cargo activity weighing on sentiment for the larger capesize vessels. The index, which gauges the cost of shipping commodities including iron ore, cement, grain, coal and fertiliser, fell 0.59 percent, or 13 points, to 2,200 points after rising for three days previously.
