From Reuters: The Group of Five major developing economies meeting in Italy on Wednesday discussed the use of alternative currencies to settle trade among themselves, said Indian Foreign Secretary Shivshankar Menon. "There was some discussion looking at the use of alternative currencies, not so much as a reserve currency, but that (which Brazil's) President Lula suggested we should consider, using our own currencies to settle our own trading accounts among each other," Menon told reporters........Full Article: Source
