Seeders' Corner News Review

Revere Capital Advisors, the London and New York-based boutique emerging hedge fund manager specialist, announced in February the official launch and opportunity to invest in its portfolio of early-stage hedge funds, the REM Founders Fund. The Fund was formed in April 2012 with a view to allocating to a concentrated portfolio of 10-12 high conviction managers. CEO Dan Barnett talked to New Managers about the REM Founders Fund and a future fund earlier this year.

Early-stage seeding specialist IMQubator seeded a new systematic trading strategy, the Persistence Program, from Romanesco Capital Management. The Romanesco strategy will be available via the Deutsche Bank dbSelect managed investment platform. Romanesco's portfolio is broadly diversified across 45 liquid futures markets comprising currencies, bonds, equity indices, and commodities that are implemented across the different geographical regions on a 24-hour basis, with the help of a proprietary developed automated execution algorithm. IMQubator CEO Jeroen Tielman spoke to Opalesque's AMB, as well as New Managers last year.
