Forum to discuss hedge fund challenges, opportunities

Opalesque Industry Update - Bloomberg BNA and law firm Seward & Kissel LLP will co-host The 2nd Annual Private Funds Forum, bringing together leading hedge funds to discuss the latest strategies and developments for fund managers. The complimentary forum will take place from 3:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, September 15 at the NYU Skirball Center in New York City.

"Hedge funds are facing increased scrutiny from regulators and investors," said Scott Mozarsky, President, Bloomberg BNA's Cross-Platform Business Division. "This forum brings together industry leaders who will provide insights into how to successfully navigate the challenges inherent in today's operating environment."

Sessions at the forum will cover SEC and DOJ enforcement trends, global legal and regulatory changes, cybersecurity issues, changes to partnership audit rules, the impact of proposed rules, and fundraising in the new environment. The event will conclude with a roundtable featuring top hedge fund managers.
