Tuesday, April 12, 2016
Opalesque Industry Update - Kettera Strategies, LLC has announced that Terri Engelman Rhoads, a hedge fund veteran and pioneer in the managed account platform space, has joined the company as a partner and co-President of the firm, effective as of January of this year.

Ms. Engelman Rhoads brings 27 years of industry experience, including as an initial partner in the Guggenheim Group and President of Guggenheim Management Partners, and President of NIP, Inc, providing non-US institutional investors with customized managed account solutions in hedge fund and CTA investments. Most recently she served as President of Midwest Management Group, where she sat on the investment committees of both public and private pensions and endowments assisting with investments in the alternative space. Additionally, Ms. Engelman Rhoads has been conducting operational due diligence for investors for more than a decade.

As a partner and co-manager of the firm, she will focus on expanding the company's strategic growth, institutional infrastructure, and investment solutions.

"Terri is a wonderful addition to Kettera," said Jon L. Stein, founder and CEO of Kettera. "She joins us at an inflection point for the firm, as we build upon our strong foundation of creating efficient access to alternative investments, coupled with our unique risk reporting technology. With Terri on board we will be able to expand our global reach and provide investors with more innovative solutions."

Ms. Engelman Rhoads added, "I am thrilled to join Kettera and help lead this effort. Kettera, and its Hydra platform, are becoming the trendsetter in alternative investment platforms. I'm looking forward to working with Jon and the team. This is a perfect place to lever my experience and knowledge base."
