Synchronicity Futures hires three new executives for its Detroit office

Opalesque Industry Update - Synchronicity Futures, LLC, a directional strategy CTA founded in July 2015, announces the addition of three new professionals to its Detroit office.

Brandon Fluegel has been named Chief Strategy Officer, focusing on strategy optimization, global macro research and communications initiatives.

Prior to joining Synchronicity, Fluegel traded for a major Chicago proprietary firm for more than 10 years, clerked in the Eurodollar options pit at the Chicago Mercantile Exchange and served as portfolio/investment analyst and strategy consultant for J2 Capital Management in Troy, Michigan. He holds a Risk Management and Finance degree from Illinois Wesleyan University, the Series 3 license, and is a contributor to a national financial news organization.

William Dickson has been named Managing Director, responsible for global macro theme analysis, new business development and operations.

Dickson previously held positions with e360 Power LLC, Citigroup Commodities in Houston and Fortune Asset Management in London, England. He currently manages a portfolio of CTA traders, including the largest Eurodollar options trader on the floor of the Chicago Mercantile Exchange. A director of the First National Bank in Howell, Mich., he holds a BA in Economics from Kalamazoo College, a Master in Professional Accounting degree from the University of Texas-Austin, and the Series 3 license.

Aimee Gupta has joined the firm as a financial analysis intern. A senior honors student at the University of Michigan-Dearborn majoring in finance with a minor in marketing, and Detroit Country Day graduate, Gupta has held financial positions at SLG Properties in Southgate and Friedman Integrated Real Estate Solutions, Farmington Hills.
