Pierre-Edouard Coiffard joins as Managing Director of the global consultancy firm Laven Partners

Opalesque Industry Update - Laven Partners, a global integrated consultancy servicing the financial industry, has been joined by Pierre-Edouard Coiffard as Managing Director within Laven Partners’ Operations Consulting department.

Pierre-Edouard will use his experience in designing innovative investment solutions for institutional clients, and in portfolio construction and management, to head Laven Partners’ Strategy and Advisory business. With over 20 years of experience in investing in hedge funds, and extensive background in sourcing, analyzing and monitoring managers and strategies, across all hedge fund styles and asset classes, Pierre-Edouard will help build development strategies including product and strategic distribution positioning for clients; as well as provide invaluable input into Laven Partners highly regarded due diligence department.

Pierre-Edouard was previously with Olympia Capital Management as Co-CIO/Head of Research, Integrated Asset Management and a founding partner of Fund of Hedge Fund Altigefi. Pierre-Edouard is a graduate of Ecole Centrale de Marseille, where he earned a master’s degree in Engineering. He then went on to receive his MBA degree from ESSEC.
