100 Women In Hedge Funds announces London board appointments

Opalesque Industry Update - 100 Women in Hedge Funds today announced the appointment of new 100WHF London Ltd Board members. 100WHF London Ltd oversees the activities in 100WHF's six European locations under the strategic guidance of the 100WHF Association Board. Three new members have been elected to 100WHF London Ltd effective 1 January, 2014. All three have chaired 100WHF operating committees in Europe. The three members are:

  • Sona Blessing, Opalesque and Independent Research Specialist
  • Anna Chevallier, Head of Business Development, Lake Geneva Investment Partners
  • Lisa Fridman, Head of European Research, Pacific Alternative Asset Management Company

Commenting on the new appointments, Kristen Eshak Weldon, 100WHF London Board Chair and Managing Director of The Blackstone Group International Partners LLP said, "We are pleased to welcome three new members to the London Board. Each has contributed to the past success of one of our three Pillars (Education, Professional Leverage and Philanthropy) in Europe, and we look forward to their future contributions on the Board as the organisation continues to grow in membership and strategic activities."
