CAIA Association marks its 10th anniversary

Opalesque Industry Update - The CAIA Association is celebrating 10 years as the alternative investment industry’s education provider. The anniversary celebrations began this week in London, home of the first CAIA Chapter, with a seminar entitled “The European Alternative Investment Industry: Past, Present and Future.”

The discussion was led by alternative investment experts from CAIA’s global network, including Andrew Baker, CEO, Alternative Investment Management Association; Stuart Bohart, President of Liquid Markets, Senior Managing Director of Strategy, Fortress Investment Group, LLC; and Zeynep Meric-Smith, AIFMD Leader for Asset Management EMEIA, Ernst & Young. The CAIA Association would like to thank the evening’s sponsors BlueBay Investments, CQS Capital Management, Ernst & Young and Man Investments.

CAIA members also celebrated in Geneva, Switzerland this week with cocktails and networking, sponsored by Lyxor. Further anniversary events are planned for Hong Kong and New York later this year, as well as further events across the U.S.
