In March, the UCITS Alternative Index Global is up 1.64% bringing its year to date performance to 1.35% while the Fund of Funds Index increased by 0.80% bringing its performance for the year to 0.54%.

The Emerging Markets and Long/Short Equity strategies are the best performing ones with 3.63% and 2.08% for the month. The Equity Market Neutral and Event Driven funds achieve the lowest results for the period with 0.47%. On a year to date basis, the Fixed Income Index is the best performing sector with 2.34% while the Commodities Index shows the worst return with -1.23%.

At the end of March the UCITS Alternative Index had more than 400 constituent funds totaling approximately EUR 70 billion assets under management.
