Excluding hydro, less than 1% of the worlds primary energy supply comes from clean renewable energy. Many of the more promising investment opportunities remain privately held and are not yet traded on the public markets. To effectively invest in these industries, the strategy has an exposure to private equity. This combination of private and public equity is better suited capture to otherwise unavailable investment opportunities.
