London bucked the national trend for house prices last month, becoming one of only two regions to see prices rise, according to research. The capital saw property prices rise by 0.3% to an average of £456,237, according to Rightmove. Prices also rose in East Anglia.
Nationally, house price fell for the third month in a row after a poor summer for the property market as buyers stayed home to watch the Olympics.
