Qatar Islamic Bank ratings affirmed

Capital Intelligence (CI), the international credit rating agency, announced today that it has affirmed Qatar Islamic Bank’s (QIB’s) Long-Term and Short-Term Foreign Currency Ratings at ‘A’ and ‘A2′, respectively.
The ratings are based on the Bank’s intrinsic financial strength and, as is the case with other Qatari banks, a very high level of support from the highly rated State of Qatar (CI Long-Term and Short-Term Sovereign Ratings of ‘AA-’ and ‘A1+’).
